Formal Portaits

The first studies of The Red Glove.  I thought it important to expose the glove front and back, kind of its mug shot as it was when it first came into my care and out of the gutter.

Today I found The Red Glove

         

The Red Glove lay in my gutter yesterday morning.  I photographed it, then started to wonder what its story was; who lost it, do they miss it, how old is it, where has it been? Then continued on with my day.   I spoke with a few friends about the glove all of whom had their own thoughts, and some even claimed ownership. This morning I awoke with the hope that the glove was still there, as it seemed to have awoke an inspiration in me.  I made some coffee and ran outside to find it still in the gutter under the front passenger tire of a parked car.  I was able to get it out and brought it in to start to dry and take its initial portrait, front view and back view,  in its current condition.
